The Kansas City Chiefs released an incomplete version of their preseason schedule alongside the regular-season schedule, lacking dates and times for two of their three games. Now, the team has finalized dates and times for each of their three preseason games.

The Chiefs will play back-to-back Saturday games before the preseason finale against the Packers on a Thursday night. I suspect that Kansas City wanted to play a preseason game on a short week to emulate what they’ll face in Week 2 ahead of the home opener against the Chargers. That will be a vital experience for some of the young players on this football team. Andy Reid is all about getting hands-on situational experience for his players.

You’ll notice that all of the games will be locally broadcast on KSHB-TV, but none are currently set to be televised nationally. That means fans who don’t reside in the Chiefs Kingdom will likely have to seek an alternative means to tune in, such as NFL Gamepass.
