Chiefs HC Andy Reid provides injury updates following Wednesday practice

The Kansas City Chiefs are heading into the wild-card round matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers with a full complement of players.

Andy Reid spoke to the media following practice on Wednesday, providing his post-practice injury update. After expressing optimism regarding injuries to Tyreek Hill (heel), Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) and Darrel Williams (toe) on Monday, everyone participated in practice in some capacity on Wednesday.

“Everbody practiced today,” Reid said.

Asked specifically about the trio dealing with injuries, Reid felt they looked good, but cautioned being overly optimistic about their ability to play on Sunday.

“They worked and they looked good today,” Reid said. “We’ll just see how it goes here the rest of the week.”

Edwards-Helaire has missed the past two weeks with his injury, while Hill and Williams were both limited by their injuries during the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Denver Broncos.

During the open portion of practice, a number of media members shared videos and images showing each player looking healthy and spry out on the field. Check those out down below:

The fact that each of these players is practicing is a good sign in terms of their availability for the game against the Steelers. We’ll monitor their practice status throughout the week leading up to the game, beginning with the first injury report coming later today.
