Chase Young's mom, Carla, will be 'speechless' if her son sacks Tom Brady
Young's mom, Carla, will be 'speechless' if her son sacks Brady originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
Ever since the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine last February, Chase Young has had a goal to sack Tom Brady.
This Saturday, Young will have that chance when Washington hosts Brady and the Buccaneers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
If the rookie is able to bring down the greatest QB ever, Young's mom, Carla, told Scott Abraham of ABC7 that she'd be at a loss for words.
"Speechless," Carla said. "Which is rare."

Young is extremely close with his mother, and the two FaceTime after every game. Following Washington's win over the 49ers last month, she even joined in on the rookie's post-game press conference.
While Young has been as good as advertised this season, his mother has been one of his biggest critics.
Through Young's first seven games of the season, Carla gave her son a C+ grade.
"She said that I'm not leading the league in sacks, so she gave me a C+," Young said in November. "I'm definitely going to get them up."

Young took his mother's words to heart. The pass rusher has been arguably Washington's best player on either side of the ball over the past two months of the season.
After Washington's win over Philadelphia this past Sunday, Young ran into the tunnel screaming "I want Tom!" calling out Brady ahead of their Wild Card matchup.
While Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians warned Young to be careful what he wishes for, Young's mom has a message to the Tampa Bay side, too.
"Just watch out for the Predator," Carla said. "Once go time comes, it's on!"
