Chase Elliott now has a pole at a track other than Daytona or Talladega.

Elliott got the fifth pole of his career on Friday and will start first in Sunday’s race at Bristol. His first four poles came at Daytona and Talladega, meaning Bristol will be the first time Elliott will start first in a non-restrictor plate race.

Elliott’s joined on the front row by Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron, Ryan Blaney and Erik Jones will start in the second row and the top five is rounded out by Denny Hamlin, who won last week at Texas.
