Chase Anderson turns in quality start

Diamondbacks pitcher Chase Anderson turned in a quality start Saturday against the Dodgers.

Anderson allowed two runs on four hits over six innings. He struck out six and did not issue any walks during the outing. Anderson gave up both his runs in the first inning. The inning started with a leadoff double by Dee Gordon. After recording the inning’s first out, Anderson gave up a two-run shot against Adrian Gonzalez. Anderson wasn’t thrown off after his early struggles, tossing five scoreless innings to finish his outing.

Anderson left with the game tied, picking up the no-decision. He’ll take on the Padres in his next start.
