The Charlotte Hornets blew out the Houston Rockets on Monday night, 123-99, to win their second-straight game.

The Hornets outscored the Rocket by 10 in the second quarter and never looked back through the second half of the game.

Terry Rozier led the way for the Hornets with 27 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal on 10-of-17 shooting from the field and 7-of-12 from downtown.

LaMelo Ball finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals on 6-of-12 shooting and 4-of-7 from 3-point range.

Check out the individual player grades from Monday night’s victory below.

LaMelo Ball: B+

LaMelo Ball filled the stat sheet on Monday night as the Hornets eased past the Rockets. Ball was efficient from the floor, hitting 4-of-7 from 3-point range along with dishing out 7 assists to get his teammates involved.

Terry Rozier: A+

Scary Terry was in full effect on Monday night as he led the way for the Hornets. Rozier was on fire from outside as he hit 7-of-12 from downtown and hit a super nifty move with his smooth handles to get an easy layup in the second quarter.

Gordon Hayward: B

Gordon Hayward finished Monday night’s victory with 10 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Hayward only got up 7 shots, which seems low for him, but Hayward is a low maintenance, true team player and when his teammates are rolling, like Rozier, he does his best to find them more open shots and plays decoy.

Jalen McDaniels: A-

Jalen McDaniels got the start with Miles Bridges out and played well, finishing with 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists on 6-of-12 shooting from the field and 2-of-4 from 3-point range. When given the minutes, McDaniels has been productive for the Hornets this season. With a rotation of Bridges, Washington, and McDaniels, the Hornets front line versatility is deep.

Mason Plumlee: A-

Mason Plumlee had one of his most productive games in some time for the Hornets on Monday, finishing with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting. Plumlee has had some trouble staying on the floor when playing against smaller lineups but he was super effective on Monday for the Hornets.

Kelly Oubre Jr.: B+

Kelly Oubre Jr. continued his hot scoring stretch off the bench on Monday, finishing with 18 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor. Oubre did struggle from outside, hitting only 1-of-7 from downtown but was able to penetrate and attack the cup.
