Steph Curry is a two-time NBA MVP, and in 2015-16 he became the only unanimous winner in NBA history. He is a three-time NBA champion.

Damian Lillard is a five-time All-NBA selection, and can erupt for 50-plus points at any time.

"I think they're 1A, 1B -- best guards in the NBA," Channing Frye told NBC Sports Bay Area's Grant Liffmann this week on the "Dubs Talk" podcast. "They're tremendous leaders, ridiculous shooters -- Steph is a better shooter, Steph is the best shooter of all time.

"Damian is a little bit more physical offensively and defensively. We can give him that. Defensively, I think they're both about [the same].

"The only narrative that I'm gonna say [and] not that I believe this -- Damian Lillard has gone to the Western Conference finals with no All-Stars [as teammates]. That's not his fault, and that's not Steph's fault.

"But that's the only argument -- the situations they can't control. Steph has had the opportunity to have a ridiculous supporting cast around him that accentuates his growth. He took advantage of his opportunity when the lights were the brightest.

"I don't think that Dame has had that opportunity yet. Maybe that's his fault. I don't know."

All that yours truly is going to say about the matter is that Steph unequivocally has been a better player than Lillard up until this point.
