For Boston Celtics champion Rajon Rondo, it’s finals or bust for the team he hung his first banner with in 2008.

The two-time titlist (Rondo won his second ring with Celtics rival Los Angeles Lakers in the Orlando bubble of 2020) believes Boston would be a big disappointment if it did not get back to the NBA Finals. Of course, the Celtics came within two wins of Banner 18 last season, only to fall to the Golden State Warriors.

The Ubuntu-era floor general recently made an appearance on ESPN’s popular “First Take” NBA show to talk over the looming postseason, and Rondo had plenty to say about his former ball club.
