Chamberlain boys golf wins team, individual titles at Parkston Invite

Sep. 1—MITCHELL — Chamberlain boys golf picked up team and individual victories at the Parkston Invite on Friday at Lakeview Golf Course.

The Cubs outlasted Winner by five strokes, 308 to 313, while Madison, Sioux Falls Christian and Mitchell-Gold each shot a 214 to finish in a three-way tie for third-place.

Chamberlain's Dakota Munger shot a four-under-par (68) to lead the pack, while SF Christian's Eli Anema finished second with a 73.

Parkston's Payton Koehn shot a 74, and Madison's Jack Olson, West Central's Kamden Zomer, Madison's Kaden Guischer and West Central's Connor Mebius each tied for fourth-place with a 77.

Jordan Meyerink and Marshall Widstrom were the top Mitchell Gold finishers, each shooting a 78 to tie for sixth-place. Brady Reiners shot a 79, and Mitchell Black's Tyler Christensen and Cannon Moller shot an 84 and 85, respectively, to finish in 27th and 28th place.

Mitchell Gold's Dawson Adams shot an 89 to finish 42nd, Matthew Mauszycki shot a 90 to place 44th, Sam Titze shot a 47 to finish 91st.

Rounding out Mitchell-Black, Gavin Polreis placed 55th by shooting a 93, Mason Moody shot a 99 to finish 72nd, Blake Brosz finished 73rd with a 100, and Ian Weber shot a 101 to finish 76th.
