Fans knew Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson for his stellar play on the football field and uber-confident personality. But while his playing days are behind him, Johnson's confidence is still regularly on display.

The former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver recently left a $1,000 tip at Stephanie's Restaurant in North Carolina, according to an Aug. 3 tweet. And while the gesture was thoughtful, he also penned a note that perfectly captured his superstar personality.

Ochocinco wrote, "I once scored six touchdowns in Madden using myself."

The 44-year-old is known for leaving sizeable tips. In 2021, he left a $1,000 tip at Redlands Grill (now J. Alexanders) in Norwood.

However, while several people on Twitter applauded Johnson's generosity, others questioned the sincerity of his gesture.
