Molly Davis scored 33 points and Micaela Kelly scored 32 as Central Michigan women's basketball beat Ohio, 100-92 in overtime, in the Mid-American Conference tournament semifinal in Cleveland on Friday.

The Chippewas (17-8) will play Bowling Green at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cleveland in the league tournament final and an automatic bid in the NCAA tournament. The MAC will most likely be a one-bid conference for the tournament.

Davis, a 5-foot-7 sophomore out of Midland Dow, was 11-for-20 from the field, including 5-for-10 from the 3-point line and made 6 of 8 free throws. Kelly, a 5-6 senior out of Detroit King, made 11 of 18 from the field (5-for-9 on 3s) and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line.

CeCe Hooks, the MAC Player of the Year, scored 23 points before fouling out in regulation.

CMU shot 52% from the field and outrebounded Ohio, 41-33.

In overtime, Jahari Smith's 3-point-play with 3:37 to go put the Chippewas up by three. A minute later, Kelly converted another 3-point-play to make it 91-85. The CMU defense forced a pair of empty Ohio possessions, followed by two free throws by Davis to extend the lead to eight with 1:16 remaining.

Madi Mace's 3-pointer with 52 seconds left in regulation tied the game at 85. Twenty seconds later, Kelly missed a layup, but on the other end, Hooks committed an offensive foul, her fifth, disqualifying her for the rest of the game and giving CMU the ball with 8 seconds left.

But Kelly's missed 3-pointer as time expired forced the extra period.
