Celtics roster moves: NBA-level, G-League squads come into focus originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston
The Boston Celtics' preseason is over, which means it's decision time for the front office ahead of Wednesday's season opener.
Mathews is expected to become a free agent, per Weiss, while Pinson and Clemons will join recently-waived players Luke Kornet, Ryan Arcidiacono and Juwan Morgan on the G-League affiliate Maine Celtics.
Rookie Sam Hauser could see time in Maine this season as well after signing a two-way contract with the Celtics this summer. Here's who else could be on the Maine squad, per Weiss:
Also joining the Maine Celtics this season are Quade Green, Jaysean Paige, Wayne Blackshear, Deng Adel, John Bohannon, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA. Paige, Blackshear and Bohannon are returning players, while Adel had a two-way deal with the Cavs in 2019.

By process of elimination, here's what Boston's 15-man roster looks like as of this weekend, with Bruno Fernando and Jabari Parker appearing to claim the final two roster spots:
Marcus Smart, Dennis Schroder, Payton Pritchard, Josh Richardson
Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Aaron Nesmith, Romeo Langford, Jabari Parker
Robert Williams, Al Horford, Juancho Hernangomez, Enes Kanter, Grant Williams, Bruno Fernando
Parker's contract is non-guaranteed, so if the C's want to free up cap space, they can waive the veteran wing and enter the regular season with 14 players on the active roster. The Celtics also have an open two-way slot they could fill with a current free agent.
Boston's season begins Wednesday night against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
