The Boston Celtics will be in full “Hospital Celtics” mode against the Miami Heat on Tuesday evening with star wing Jaylen Brown, reserve point guard Malcolm Brogdon, veteran floor general Marcus Smart, and big man Al Horford all joining swingman Danilo Gallinari as out for the contest on the injured list.
A sliver of good news for the ball club is center Robert Williams III has been cleared to return to action, and the Celtics will need the Timelord’s help to beat the Heat on the road with the way their opponent has been putting things together on the court of late.
Miami has found ways to beat the Milwaukee Bucks and New Orleans Pelicans (twice, at that) in recent days, so the Celtics will have to lean hard on their depth behind Jayson Tatum, himself returning from a one-game absence due to injury.
