Celtics demolish Rockets in Ime Udoka’s return to Boston

Former Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka found his return to face the team that fired him midway through last season begin with a smattering of boos, and end with a 145-113 blowout loss for his Houston Rockets by the time the final buzzer sounded.

Only the ejection of star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum likely prevented he and fellow All-NBA swingman Jaylen Brown from each logging 30 points in the victory over Houston. It turned out to be a good bit of revenge after an exhausted Boston roster fell in embarrassing fashion to the Milwaukee Bucks in overtime the contest prior.

The win extended Boston’s historic home win streak to 19 straight games as well.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast took a closer look at the win postgame — check it out above!
