CELINE's FW22 Collection Is An Ode to Elevated Luxury

For CELINE's Fall/Winter 2022 showcase, artistic director Hedi Slimane christened the newly restored Salons D’Apparat of the Hotel De La Marine in Paris, France.

The "Dans Paris" campaign was the first to be filmed in the historic 18th-century building since its restoration was completed in 2021, a project which took place over four years. Initially designed to present royal collections to French and foreign investors, the rooms exude French luxury at its finest. The campaign was filmed in two iconic locations, with the second being the Hotel National Des Invalides.

Starring Kaia Gerber and BLACKPINK's Lisa, "Dans Paris" features an array of elevated basics fused with statement pieces. The collection boasts luxe fabrics like cashmere and vicuna, paired with sleek leathers and vibrant knitwear. Key silhouettes are defined through oversized fits and refined tailoring, with draping fabrics and subtle sheens. Standout items from the collection include the Verneuil boot and the Wesley oversized jeans, alongside this season's must-have accessory: the Matelassé Monochrome bag.
