But after hauling in five catches for 52 yards and a pair of TDs in UVa's 28-21 win over Duke, senior wide receiver Doni Dowling felt "guilty" for having done something he called "selfish." But when the team eventually went into the victory formation, the Richmond native says, he was overwhelmed by emotion.
In this video interview, he explains the last few minutes of the game, as his emotions went from jubilation to potential humiliation to his 15-yard penalty for excessive celebration to relief during a speech to his team moments after they entered the locker room.
