Purdue guard Carsen Edwards has earned a spot on Team USA with the U19 World Cup team.

The roster spots were finalized after Thursday's morning practice in Colorado Springs, after being narrowed to 17 players the day before. Edwards, who capped a fantastic freshman season last year, made the 12-man cut.

He'll continue to practice with the team in Colorado Springs ahead of the 2017 FIBA U19 World Cup, which will be played July 1-9 in Cairo, Egypt.

Last season, Edwards averaged 10.3 points in 23.3 minutes. He started 21 of Purdue's 35 games.
