Carli Lloyd Drills 55-Yard Field Goal At Eagles Practice Camp

Get this girl a uniform!

Carli Lloyd stopped by the NovaCare Complex on Tuesday to hang out with the Philadelphia Eagles, and showed off that impressive leg of hers.

38-year old Lloyd was seen hanging with the boys and drilling 40-55 yard field goals, which has people wondering if she can suit up for the upcoming NFL season.

Lloyd is one of the world’s best soccer player and a two-time FIFA player of the year. She also knows pressure pressure situations, having won two Olympic Gold medals and two World Cup championships.

.

“I'm really impressed with all these guys,” Lloyd said in a video she posted. She added, “It's awesome to be here. Really looking forward to the season.”

Lloyd’s kicking skills went viral and impressed Hall of Famer Gil Brandt who was the former vice president of player personnel for the Dallas Cowboys.

Brandt tweeted: “Honestly, I don't think it will be long before we see a woman break through this NFL barrier. I'd give her an honest tryout if I were, say, the Bears.”

One fan noted that Lloyd once connected on a far more significant long-range boot, part of her hat trick on a day the U.S. team faced Japan in the 2015 World Cup final.

Sure, it wasn't a game time situation, but Lloyd has thrived on some of the biggest stages in the world. She doesn’t seem the type to cave to a high pressure NFL field goal situation.

Lloyd, who was part of the recent U.S. Women's World Cup victory in France, took center stage at the Eagles’ joint training session with the Baltimore Ravens.
