The No. 17 Louisville football team made quick work of the visiting Murray State Racers, winning 55-10 Saturday at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Quarterback Lamar Jackson accounted for 349 total yards in helping the Cards build a 35-3 halftime lead. From there, the Cardinal youngsters handled the rest in the second half.
Lamar Jackson completed 18-of-26 passes for 249 yards and three touchdowns through the air. He rushed seven times for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Louisville's Heisman Trophy winner played just one play in the second half and that was only because Jawon Pass lost his helmet and had to sit out a play.
Even though he played just two quarters, Jackson still managed to continue working his way up the Louisville record books.
