The Arizona Cardinals are back on top of the NFC as the No. 1 seed. They also return to the No. 1 spot in the latest Touchdown Wire power rankings by Nick Wojton.

They previously had fallen to No. 3 after their Week 10 loss to the Carolina Panthers but now sit atop the list.

The Cardinals continue to prove they’re a team much more than just QB Kyler Murray. Again, Murray didn’t play and backup Colt McCoy grabbed another win. He certainly wasn’t alone, though. Arizona’s defense held the Seahawks to 207 yards passing and only 86 total on the ground.

The Cardinals went 2-1 without Kyler Murray or DeAndre Hopkins in the lineup. They also lost J.J. Watt and Chase Edmonds. Yet they are perfect on the road and have the best record in the league.

They have a top defense and a top offense.

There is no other team in the league playing as consistently on both sides of the ball.

It’s hard to believe that going through nearly a month of missing their starting quarterback that they actually moved up in the playoff standings, but that is exactly what they did.
