Cardi B, badass Bronx babe and the music industry's latest darling, made jaws drop this weekend when she revealed that yes, she is pregnant with her first child with Migos rapper Offset. Clad in a bump-hugging custom white Christian Siriano gown, many are saying that the rapper’s choice to begin a family — and be vocal about it — at the start of her career is a big win for young women everywhere. And we have one thing to say: We’re here for it.
Another thing we're here for? Cardi's other SNL stage look. The singer also wore a custom-made, black and white, feather-covered Christian Cowan dress that looked much like her getup on the cover of her Invasion of Privacy album, which came out April 6. But the part of the look that really made us sit up and take notice was her expertly-styled, emerald green finger waves that we've been obsessing over ever since.
Inspired by the yellow version of the same style seen on her album’s cover (which just so happens to have received gold certification in just 24 hours) Cardi B’s stylist, Tokyo Stylez, created the look by dyeing a similarly short wig from Exotic Hair with Manic Panic’s Green Envy High Voltage Classic Cream Hair Color. A rep for the brand says that they and Stylez corresponded directly when it came to the color. If you want to make your own "money moves" with the emerald hue, you can pick up your own jar for $14 — a small price to pay for such a bold color.
If you're more into her Invasion of Privacy cover hue, Manic Panic has shades like Electric Banana and Sunshine that can help you achieve that particular look.
