Caps' Brenden Dillon sadly announces retirement from TikTok

As many athletes have been doing during the quarantine life due to the coronavirus pandemic, Capitals defenseman Brenden Dillon has gotten in the TikTok game.

However, don't expect Dillon to be making many more videos on the popular social media app.

One video that Dillon's girlfriend Emma Wittchow posted on the app a few weeks ago (watch below for yourself) went viral, and several of his Washington teammates, as well as family friends, had plenty of jokes about it.

"I think it's probably gonna have to be my last with the amount of chirps I took from the guys and friends back home," Dillon said on an ESPN podcast with Emily Kaplan and Greg Wyshynski (h/t Russian Machine Never Breaks). "It was a short-lived dance career, but I'll stick to hockey."

To Dillon's credit, it may not have been his idea to make the TikTok's in the first place.

"I have to blame the ole lady for that one, but [Wiitchow] roped me into it," Dillon said.

Sorry Caps fans, but it doesn't look like we will get to see Dillon's dance moves anytime soon.
