Capitals sign three of their 2019 draft picks
In the 2019 NHL Draft, the Capitals had four draft picks.
With those selections, they picked Connor McMichael, Brett Leason, Aliaksei Protas and Martin Has.
Three of those players have now signed new deals with the Capitals.
It's been less than a month since the 2019 NHL Draft and in a span of just three days, the #Caps have now signed each of their first three picks: @con91mcmichael, @Bleason7 and @protas_21.

McMichael's deal is a three-year, $925,000 AAV entry-level contract, with $92,500 in signing bonuses.
Protas and Leason are signed to similar deals in that both have a $925,000 AAV each year, but that is where the similarities end.
Leason's deal has an $82,500 performance bonus attached each year in addition to the $92,500 signing bonus. Protas's contract in his first year has a performance bonus of $132,500, followed by two years of $82,500.
