Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox 4, Orleans Firebirds 0

BYU's Bryce Robison got the start for the Red Sox (11-5-2) and pitched his best outing of the season, shutting down the Firebirds (8-8-2) over six shutout innings. Robison pitched to contact well. He only tallied three strikeouts but allowed four hits, keeping the Orleans bats quiet. He exited the game with his team up 2-0 and made way for UCLA's Luke Jewett. Jewett got the final nine outs to complete the shutout and faced just one over the minimum.

Offensively the Red Sox did enough to support the pitching staff, getting single runs in the third and sixth innings before picking up two insurance runs in the eighth.

Brewster Whitecaps 0, Falmouth Commodores 0

Despite 12 combined hits between them, The Whitecaps (9-8-1) and the Commodores (5-11-2) played out a scoreless draw at Gov Fuller Field. Both teams had chances but neither could take advantage. Brewster left nine men on base, while Falmouth stranded eight.

The Commodores best chance came in third inning, when they had runners on second and third with one out and failed to score. Brewster squandered the same scenario in the top of the eighth inning.

Texas junior Zane Morehouse made his season debut, getting the start, and went 4 2/3 innings allowing three hits.

Cotuit Kettleers 4, Harwich Mariners 4

The Kettleers (13-2-3) survived five errors defensively and tied the Mariners (6-11-1) on the road.

An error proved costly for the Kettleers in the bottom of the seventh when Duke's Graham Pauley stepped up and drove in two with a two-out single to tie the game at 4-4.

Harwich also got a lead-off home run in the third inning from Virginia's Chris Newell.

The Kettleers offense came in the second and sixth innings. Kentucky's Ryan Ritters two-run home run gave Cotuit an early advantage.

Bourne Braves 3, Chatham Anglers 2

The Braves (8-7-3) narrowly edged out the Anglers (4-12-2) on the road. Chatham got all their offense on one swing of the bat in the fifth inning when Georgia Tech's Jake DeLeo connected on a two-run shot, which tied the game at 2-2.
