Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo: What to know, how to watch, prediction

Mexican boxing legend Canelo Alvarez is back in action Sept. 30 when he puts his four super middleweight titles on the line against the native Houstonian Jermell Charlo, the undisputed junior middleweight champion.

This will be Alvarez's third defense of his undisputed titles while it will mark Charlo's debut in a new weight class.

The Showtime pay-per-view costs $84.99. It will also be on at many sports bars, most of which will charge a cover.

Alvarez is 59-2-2, with 39 of the wins coming by knockout.

The 33-year-old is 35-1-1 with 19 knockouts.

The fight is set for Sept. 30 in Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena, with the card starting at 6 p.m. Alvarez-Charlo is the fourth fight on the television card.

Other fights on the pay-per-view include Yordina Ugas vs. Mario Barrios in a welterweight clash, Jesus Ramos vs. Erickson Lubin in a junior middleweight bout and Elijah Garcia against Armando Resindez in a middleweight fight.

Canelo vs Charlo prediction

Alvarez is a solid favorite, checking in at minus-420. That means a $420 bet would win $100. Charlo is plus-330, meaning a $100 bet on him would make $330.
