Calvin Ridley set to wear No. 0 for the Jacksonville Jaguars

Yesterday, the NFL made a rule change that will allow players to wear No. 0 in games beginning in the upcoming 2023 season. Former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver, Calvin Ridley, is set to be the first player to wear the No. 0 for the Jacksonville Jaguars this year he announced on social media.

Ridley was traded to the Jaguars ahead of the NFL trade deadline in 2022, but due to a season-long suspension, he never appeared in any action.

The new number feels like it will represent a new chapter in Ridley’s career. Ridley was wildly productive when he was with the Atlanta Falcons, and now he will be teaming up with one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL in Trevor Lawrence.

Ridley should be the healthiest he’s ever been in his career after not playing in 2022 and I think he is poised for a massive 2023 campaign.
