Cal's Kristine Anigwe selected with the ninth overall pick at the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun. The 6'4" center and forward became the first four-time All-American in Cal history and averaged 22.3 points and 16.2 rebounds in the 2018-19 season, which also made her the first D1 women's player in over 30 years to average those numbers. For her historic efforts, Anigwe was named the 2019 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year after recording a double-double in 32 of 33 games. She also finishes her career at Cal as the all-time leader in career points, rebounds and blocks.
