Phillip “Phizzurp” Klemenov, a member of H2K Gaming’s Call of Duty team, passed away late Saturday night from injuries suffered in a car accident. He was 23.
Phizzurp was a veteran and community staple in the Call of Duty competitive scene. He wrapped up his final stream on Twitch hours before the accident. His girlfriend, Adrianna Lemus, addressed his death in an emotional video posted shortly after the accident. According to Lemus, Phil lost control of the vehicle, which hit a pole and crashed through several trees.
The Call of Duty community expressed shock and grief over Klemenov’s sudden death.
I’m in disbelief. Rest easy @PHiZZURP. Incredibly sad to hear that you’ve passed on. This is unreal.

Phizzurp, who began his pro career in 2011, was known in-game for his acute game sense and dominating Search and Destroy play. A Go Fund me page has been set up to help his family cover the costs of his funeral. Our sincerest condolences go out to Phizzurp’s family and those close to him.
