Calais Campbell active for Ravens, cornerback Marcus Peters inactive originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

After he missed last week’s reunion against the Jaguars with a calf injury, the Ravens will get defensive end Calais Campbell back in the mix for Sunday against the Giants. They will limited on the back-end once again with Marcus Peters out with a calf injury for the second straight week.

Smith was declared out on the team's Friday injury report.

Other inactives for the Ravens are: wideout James Proche, running back Mark Ingram, cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Marcus Peters, outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson, center Trystan Colon-Castillo and defensive lineman Broderick Washington.

The team's "surprise" inactive is Proche, a wide receiver and the team's punt returner. Ingram is a healthy inactive for the second straight game.

Daniel Jones will start at quarterback for the Giants.

While Sunday’s game isn’t make or break for the Ravens in the playoff picture, a win over the Giants certainly wouldn’t hurt and would make Week 17 more wide open.
