Cal Ripken Jr. turned in his Orioles' colors for Ravens' purple and white on Saturday night to welcome in the newest draft class of the Baltimore Ravens.
"I just wanted to take time out to welcome the newest Ravens to Baltimore," he said. "You'll find out it's a great town."
Then, he told his draft story - his mom came to his high school and told him he had been drafted by the Orioles in the second round.
"And to celebrate that," he remembers, "I went back to class."
