A Butterfly Followed Brook's Koepka's Golf Ball In A Storybook Putt
The PGA Tour Championship is underway, which means the winner this weekend will walk away with $15 million.
Brooks Koepka is one of the many talented golfers in the field, but one moment from Day One might outshine anything he does the rest of the weekend.
During a putt for birdie, Koepka's golf ball found a friend in a curious butterfly:
"Go get it, butterfly!"Chasing in a @BKoepka birdie. 🦋
I say release all the butterflies and be known as the PGA Tour Championship AND a butterfly sanctuary/garden!
Animals are no strangers to golf courses. Plenty of animal friends have found their way onto the links.
Some animals are a little more dangerous than butterflies...like alligators. (Don't approach gators, kids.)
The all-time golf-animal moment was when a seagull scooped up Brad Fabel's ball and dropped it in the water at TPC Sawgrass.
There is still golf to play, and hopefully Koepka can harness his "Snow White" powers and get some more magic to climb up the leaderboard.
