Bunch, Rogers unable to qualify for finals in PBR unleash the beast

Jan. 21—TULSA — The finals were not in the cards for Caden Bunch and Wyatt Rogers over the weekend in Tulsa at the PBR Unleash the Beast tour.

Neither of the Cherokee County riders was able to post a qualified ride. Bunch was able to post a qualified ride in his first run on day one posting just over a 60. Due to his bovine partner, Bunch qualified for a ride. The ride was unsuccessful as Bunch was thrown off. Day two didn't treat Bunch much kindly as his bull — Mr. Nasty — got the upper hand.

Rogers couldn't get much momentum either in the BOK Center. After not posting a qualified ride on day one, Rogers ran into some issues with his bovine dancing partner. Rogers' day two match-up would not settle down and the Hulbert native was awarded a reride before he could even leave the gate. Rogers wasn't able to get anything going during his ride and was booted from the event.
