White out vs. Nets due to COVID-19 protocols originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

Coby White will miss Sunday's matinee against the Brooklyn Nets after landing in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Bulls coach Billy Donovan said pregame.

"For him, he's just got a test right now that they're looking deeper into," Donovan said of White. "We'll probably find out more in the next 24-48 hours."

It's White's third missed game of the season. He was previously absent from road matchups with the Warriors and Suns with neck pain.

The second-year guard is averaging 14.8 points and 4.6 assists while shooting 40.7 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from 3-point range, in 45 appearances this season.
