Bulls acquire F Vonleh from Blazers

The Chicago Bulls acquired forward Noah Vonleh and cash from the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for the rights to Serbian big man Milovan Rakovic.

The move will drop the Blazers below the luxury-tax threshold and give them a $3.5 million traded-player exception.

Vonleh, 22, has averaged 3.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in 33 appearances for Portland this season. Taken ninth overall in 2014 by the Hornets, Vonleh was traded after just one season to the Blazers, where he has started 109 games over the past three seasons.

Rakovic, 32, plays for Union Neuchâtel Basket in the Swiss Basketball League. The Bulls acquired his rights from the Magic in July of 2014.
