Bullard's Panther Stadium to host Area round tilt
Nov. 11—BULLARD — Playoff football action is scheduled to return to Panther Stadium in Bullard at 7 p.m. Friday.
Cooper (10-1) will be engaging Shelbyville (6-4) in a Class 2A, Division I, Region III fray.
Cooper blanked Frankston, 61-0, in bi-district action, while the Dragons pulled off a mild upset over Groveton, winning 35-28.
The Bulldogs are the District 9-2A-I champs, while Shelbyville came in third place in District 11-2A-I.
The Cooper-Shelbyville winner will move on to the regional round and will battle either Beckville or Garrison.
