New Buffs CB Jahquez Robinson talks expectations for Colorado in 2023

As everyone knows by this point, Colorado did not have a great 2022 campaign.

After that one-win season, the Buffs hired Deion Sanders and he has since changed the culture by bringing in a ton of new players through the portal.

One of those newcomers is former Alabama CB Jahquez Robinson, who recently joined the Folsom Frenzy Podcast and discussed the need for Colorado to have higher expectations in 2023.

“I have a higher standard than winning just one game,” Robinson said on the Folsom Frenzy Podcast. “I don’t want them guys to be excited, ‘Oh, we won one game, we went 5-7.’ Nah, that ain’t the standard. We’re trying to build something great and leave a legacy. I’m trying to win all 12 games That’s how I’m looking at it. I’m going to come into every game thinking that we’re gonna win this game.”

The standard is definitely higher for CU football with Coach Prime, and it’ll be intriguing to see how things change on the field going forward.
