Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Team connections

The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs will do battle in the AFC postseason once again. This time, the battle will be in the Divisional round.

The stakes will be high for everyone.

But for some on the Bills (11-6) and Chiefs (11-6) there is a bit more on the line than others.

That’s because multiple players and coaches for both sides are going to be playing against their former teams. That can create a little bit of extra motivation for them heading into Sunday.

With that, here’s a quick list of connections the two teams have with one another ahead of the upcoming matchup at Highmark Stadium:

OL Mitch Morse

Morse when to college pretty close to Kansas City, at Missouri, and then was drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft. He signed as a free agent in Buffalo in 2019 and he has since signed an extension with the Bills.

QB Shane Buechele

Buechele is the Bills’ practice squad quarterback. Before holding that title starting this season, he held the same job with the Chiefs.
