The Buffalo Bills are playoff bound once again.

There’s still work to do, but with their 29-15 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 17 combined with some help, the Bills will be heading to the postseason. With one game remaining, Buffalo has done enough to guarantee a spot in the postseason with their 10-6 record.

The help came via the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams topped the Baltimore Ravens, 20-19, in NFL play elsewhere. The Ravens were without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson at home and still kept things close, but it wasn’t enough.

Now the Bills will turn their attention to locking up at least one home playoff contest in the coming weeks.

In their season finale, Buffalo hosts the New York Jets. A win will give the Bills the AFC East title which means they’d have their first playoff game at home in the Wild Card round.

Heading into Week 17, the most likely matchup Buffalo has in the playoff right now is another AFC East rival: The New England Patriots.

The two sides have never met in the playoffs in the modern era.

With their latest playoff entry, it’s the fourth time in five seasons under the watch of head coach Sean McDermott that the Bills have made it to the postseason.
