Bucs RB Giovani Bernard (ankle) won’t return vs. Saints

·1 min read

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to finish Sunday’s game without one of their veteran running backs.

Giovani Bernard left the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury, and has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

Leonard Fournette is still getting the lion’s share of the snaps in Tampa Bay’s backfield, with rookie third-round draft pick Rachaad White backing him up. Looks like they’ll have to keep splitting the touches for the rest of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
