Bucs preseason times officially confirmed

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ preseason slate was somewhat up in the air when it was first announced, but that’s no longer the case.

The Bucs announced that they’re officially locked in with their preseason slate on Thursday, releasing their full preseason schedule on Twitter. Tampa Bay’s three opponents were previously known, but the time of each game and which day the team would play the New York Jets was previously unconfirmed.

As per usual, the whole slate is made up of night games. The team is set to play the Steelers at home on Aug. 11 at 7 p.m., followed by an away game with the New York Jets. It was initially unknown which day the Bucs would play the Jets, but Tampa Bay confirmed it’ll make the trip to the Big Apple on Aug. 19 to play New York at 7:30. Finally, the Bucs will head back home to play the Ravens on Aug. 26 at 7 p.m.

While reports have stated that the team is looking to hold joint practice with the Jets in New York, the Bucs nor the Jets have confirmed that it will happen as of now.
