Bucs to place CB Rashard Robinson on injured reserve

Bucs are putting corner and special-teams ace Rashard Robinson on injured reserve, likely working out an injury settlement. With rookies McMichael and Gardner waived, that leaves Dee Delaney as the fifth cornerback if the Bucs carry one.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are placing cornerback Rashard Robinson in injured reserve, per The Athletic’s Greg Auman.

An injury settlement is likely, per Auman, which means Robinson would then be waived.

Robinson was competing for the fifth cornerback spot, and has experience on special teams that might help him catch on elsewhere once he’s back to full strength.
