Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo reportedly will miss playoffs with tendon injury in foot

After cruising through the first round of the NBA playoffs so far, the Milwaukee Bucks were hit with their first major challenge Friday. Guard Donte DiVincenzo reportedly will miss the rest of the postseason due to a tendon injury in his left foot, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

DiVincenzo experienced the injury during Thursday's 113-84 win over the Miami Heat. DiVincenzo left the contest in the second quarter and was unable to return.

DiVincenzo started all three games for the Bucks. He's not a major threat offensively, but is known for playing strong defense and pulling in rebounds. During the series against the Heat, DiVincenzo has averaged 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 points while playing 23 minutes per game.

Bucks looking to push past Heat in first round

While losing DiVincenzo hurts, the Bucks haven't had much opposition from the Heat in the first round. Following Thursday's win, the Bucks hold a 3-0 lead in the series. With another win, the team will move on to the second round, where it will take on the winner of the Brooklyn Nets-Boston Celtics series.

The Bucks could face some stiff opposition in that series if the Nets advance. Oddsmakers at BetMGM like the Nets to win the Eastern Conference, listing the team at -115. The Bucks, however, have the next best odds to win the East at +280.
