The Milwaukee Bucks will be without guard Malcolm Bucks when they tip off against the Celtics Friday evening. Per Boston Globe’s NBA writer Gary Washburn, Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer confirmed Friday that Brogdon has not been cleared to play. Nikola Mirotic -- who started Game 2 of the series -- will start again in Brogdon’s place.

Brogdon averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists across 64 games this year before sustaining a plantar facia tear in his right foot during the first quarter against the Miami Heat on March 15. Speaking with reporters on Thursday, Budenholzer was mum on a timetable for the 26-year-old’s return.

“His status is still the same," Budenholzer said, via Ben Steele of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "We're still kind of evaluating him, assessing how he does from today. Scrimmaging some yesterday.”
