Mets manager Buck Showalter met the media before the team's spring training game against the Astros on Tuesday, and said that LHP Jose Quintana's test results will determine how much time he'll miss. Showalter seemed optimistic with the Mets' pitching depth even if Quintana has to miss significant time, however, citing how last year's team had a similar problem that thrusted the likes of Tylor Megill and David Peterson into the starting rotation.
