BOSTON -- The Boston Bruins are in huge trouble after the first period of Game 7 of the 2019 Stanley Cup Final.
Despite outplaying the St. Louis Blues for most of the opening 20 minutes at TD Garden, the Bruins find themselves trailing 2-0.
It's not an insurmountable deficit, but only two teams in NHL history have overcome a multi-goal deficit to win a Game 7 of the Cup Final.

The Bruins trailed 2-0 early in the second period of Game 1 against the Blues and ultimately won 4-2. They'll need a similar effort over the final 40 minutes to erase this Blues lead and win the Stanley Cup.
