The Boston Bruins will attempt to bounce back from a Game 2 defeat to the New York Islanders and regain control of their second-round playoff series with a Game 3 win Thursday night at Nassau Coliseum.

Game 2 was there for the taking Monday night but a poor pass in overtime by Bruins defenseman Jeremy Lauzon allowed Islanders forward Casey Cizikas to have a breakaway scoring chance that he capitalized on to win the game and even the series.

Beating the Islanders on the road won't be an easy task for the Bruins. New York had one of the best home records in the NHL during the regular season at 21-4-3, and Nassau Coliseum's fan capacity has been increased to 12,000 for Round 2.

Puck drop for Bruins-Islanders Game 3 is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.
