Halak is set to take the ice for his 500th NHL game, becoming the 74th goalie in NHL history to do so. Both he and Tuukka Rask have reached the milestone this season, making them the only current goaltending tandem in the league to reach the milestone.

Before heading to Boston, Halak spent time with the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Washington Capitals and New York Islanders. The B's produced a tribute video for the 34-year-old netminder, encapsulating his time with each organization.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy noted just how solid the B's backup has been since joining the organization in 2018.
"He's been excellent for us. I'm sure he could be a No. 1 in this league, I really believe that," Cassidy said, according to bostonbruins.com's Eric Russo. "We're happy to have him in that regard because we feel like we've got two No. 1s."
Halak is 28-12-7 with a .924 save percentage, 2.34 goals-against average and six shutouts in his Bruins career. He's 6-1-3 with a .930 SV percentage and 2.35 GAA this season.
The Bruins are set to host the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET in an Eastern Conference Finals rematch.
