David Pastrnak named NHL's Third Star of the Week originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

David Pastrnak dominated in the Boston Bruins' NHL Outdoors win over the Philadelphia Flyers, and he was recognized for his efforts on Monday.

The Bruins winger was named the NHL's Third Star of the Week for the week ending Feb. 21. Pastrnak scored four goals in two games, including a hat trick vs. Philly at Lake Tahoe. He also scored vs. the New Jersey Devils on Feb. 18.

Pastrnak has nine goals and five assists through nine games this season. The 24-year-old will look to add to those impressive numbers when the Bruins face off against the New York Islanders on Thursday night.
