As we approach the beginning of the 2023 season, the Cleveland Browns have not only cut their roster down to 53 and signed 15 players to their practice squad, but they have now voted for their team captains for the 2023 season. And yes, quarterback Deshaun Watson was one of the players voted as a captain by his teammates for the 2023 season.

This team will go as far as Watson takes them. The team has not been shy about putting their $230 million quarterback at the forefront of their social media posts or in front of the media.

After overhauling their roster, especially along the defensive line and all of the other weaknesses on the roster, expectations are sky-high in Cleveland. The Browns have no excuses not to get into the playoffs and make a run at an AFC North title.
