Browns host former Super Bowl champion running back Darrell Henderson

After the team decided not to re-sign running backs Kareem Hunt and D’Ernest Johnson the team has needed depth behind Nick Chubb. Second-year running back Jerome Ford is a quality young player with upside but there isn’t much else on the depth chart. SI’s Noah Weiskopf is reporting that on Wednesday the Cleveland Browns brought in running back Darrell Henderson for a visit.

Over his four-year career, Henderson rushed for a total of 1,742 yards averaging 4.4 yards per carry and scoring 17 total touchdowns. He would likely battle for the backup job behind Chubb but would provide a quality change of pace off the bench for the Browns.
